Robert Villatora

Robert Villatora is an experienced financial planner, mortgage broker and real estate researcher with a vast knowledge of international banking, investment management, immigration packages and wealth creation.

He has more than 25 years experience in the fields of finance, property, investments and international banking and has worked with major corporations including Telstra Corporation, Coldwell Banker and large banking groups in Singapore.

Working abroad has provided him excellent insights and understanding of international banking, financial instruments, procedures and policies.

Robert was a senior account manager with Telstra Corporation, responsible for a portfolio worth US$20m. In this role he gained experience in project management, training, strategic account selling, strategic account development, interpretation of financial fundamentals and a deep understanding team methodologies.

Since 1995, utilising his extensive knowledge of finance, property and investments, he has established several companies providing financial/property products and services. This includes financial services such as mortgage and life insurance brokerage, superannuation, managed funds and specialising in investment property research services.

In 2001, Robert and his partners identified a rapidly increasing need for corporate and financial services training and established the Australian College of Financial Services. The college provides training and education to major associations and companies such as the Association of Financial Advisers, Finance Brokers Association, Choice Home Loans, Choice Future Planning, AFG and many others.

He has been appointed to a number of sub-committees of the Association of Financial Advisers including Mortgage Advice, Investment Real Estate Advice and, importantly, providing the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) with strategic and policy advice to ensure compliance within the real estate advisory industry.
